Gunguru pooja

The Kathak dance tradition can be described as a dance tradition that I have studied very much. It can be described as a traditional dance tradition of India. I was fortunate to study this tradition in Sri Lanka. My teacher went to India to learn the Kathak dance tradition and came to Sri Lanka to teach us💝.

This dance tradition is performed in both Lasya and Thanda. The specialty of this dance is using the legs more. Since the dance is performed on the feet, the feet are tied with a rope. These are called Gunguru... This is done to seek blessings from the gods before wearing them on the feet... These rituals are unique to India.

I also get lucky to wear this Gunguru on my feet💪. The Gunguru, which is placed in front of the gods and blessed, is tied on the feet at an auspicious time. This is done by the teacher.. At the end of the ceremony, they perform dances to thank God and the teachers.. That day is a special day in my life😍😍.
